Simpler is Better

Truth bomb: You were born, and you will die. No one is getting out of here alive, and we can’t take anything with us when we go.

Reality check
:  If you were to leave this world tomorrow, do you know what would to happen to all your property, your accounts, your children, pets, and debts?

At Simpler Law, we assess each client’s particular situation and give advice and methods to avoid or lessen probate administration, such as utilization of “payable on death” beneficiary designations, enhanced life-estate deeds, and business succession planning. We help you create a pre-death plan for the distribution of your assets upon your death. Our goal is to avoid probate altogether, ensure that your wishes are carried out, preserve your assets, reduce after-death expenses, and avoid unnecessary stress and cost for your loved ones.

After your death, if probate becomes necessary for your estate, we assist your personal representatives every step of the way through the legal process and make it as simple, smooth, and fast as possible. If you have a Trust, we provide a full range of trust administration services, helping your Trustee every step of the way to meet their obligations and carry out your intentions for beneficiaries. We can help you make your transition from life to death as smooth as possible for the loved ones you leave behind.

A Trustee Deed is often used to distribute real property to the beneficiaries of the Trust without the need for any probate or court orders, following the death of the Grantor.
